Imagine these scenes with the "warm smell of Colitas" and you'll get a whiff of the NO to LNG drift

  1. Fight LNG right now, today, Sat Aug 29 & 30. USE OUR FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE TO SIGN UP AND HELP US THIS SATURDAY AND/OR SUNDAY -- CORRECTED WEB LINK
    https://www.facebook.com/events/917147478361711/

Reminder: saveRGVfromLNG has reserved table 2128 at the 77 Flea Market this , 5559 North US Hwy 77 (also called Expressway 77), Brownsville, 546-5586. Come find out what's going on and help us spread the word. Spanish speakers especially needed. The 77 Flea Market has a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/77-Fl...=page_internal. Our table is right next to the people selling shrimp there, so we can talk them up about LNG operations at the Port will affect their shrimp business! Maybe they'll even help us out!

The plan is to pass out fliers, ask folks to sign our petition, help folks file comments with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) before the Feb 4 deadline, network with the folks selling shrimp (since the LNG operations would hurt their business), shop, eat, get to know each other, think of other things we can do to fight LNG, make a positive difference, protect our babies from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Asthma (both increased by LNG and all the other operations associated with it). When we first found out about the LNG companies wanting to set up at our local Port of Brownsville, everyone said "It's a done deal." Now more and more people are getting involved. They're changing their minds, now saying "Maybe, just maybe, we can stop this." We have to do all we can to keep our momentum going, to make sure our 77 Flea Market event is not a non-event.
