1994 Local Blogger's Obsession Continues

Juan Montoya of El Rrun Rrun has over sensationalized, exaggerated and most of all lied to his readers about the local history and innocence of early settlers who sold land to Charles Stillman who was unaware he was doing business with a disharmonious family where sibling rivalry was at the root of greed in a disingenuous  family.   Here are two sides to the story allowing him to have the final word on the topic which Mr Montoya continually presses to this day which has created a class of disillusioned, narrow-minded and misguided students of local history.

I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything.
Do you have any recommendations for inexperienced blog writers?
    I'd really appreciate it.

need side effect , people can take a signal.

    1. Juan Cortina has always been a subject of controversy between historians as to what role he played in RGV history. Arguments have always been one-sided: He was either a hero or bandit. Mr Montoya fails to mention the many instances in which Cortina resorted to treachery and ruthlessness to serve his purposes. Rather than judge him we should examine his actions and motives to reach a clearer understanding of role. Juan Cortina was both hero and bandit. There is nothing wrong about it - it just happens to be the truth and telling the truth about history is right. Charles Stillman is targeted as a villainous robber baron to garner praise and sympathy for Cortina. That is not the way to tell a story or his story. Cortina played a very small role in Stillman's life but he is made larger than life because he was more than a bandit. Every hero needs a villain.
