35mm slide image of woman on 1870s Baldwin locomotive (location unknown)
You have reached your destination for the finest and rarest images of Brownsville, Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. This isn't one of them but the statement is true

    1. ok I'll humor you. What we're seeing here is a 35mm slide image of a woman on what may be an old Baldwin locomotive much like the 1877 Baldwin 2-4-2 narrow gauge engine restored by Gene Balch Co and on display at the Historic Brownsville Museum on E Madison St in Brownsville, Texas. It isnt the same engine - but it's a cool pic imho. The seller on Ebay never reached me with an answer as to where this might have been taken so we'll assume he doesnt know. Leave it to a budding historian to waste time on finding out although it might not bee too difficult since there are not a lot of these small trains left to see anymore. BTW it looks to be 1980s era when photo was taken.
